Biography
About Jim's Guts - Talking about your internal plumbing and its byproducts isn't exactly the most pleasant of conversational topics. And really, I understand that, but Inflammatory Bowel Disease (usually referred to as IBD it's an overarching term that refers to Crohn's and Ulcerative Colitis) is a serious problem for over 1.4 million people. Including me. It's something that people need to know more about, and I intend to help make that happen.
Personally I've had to deal with IBD since 1993 (I'll get around to posting my history at some point). Since 2005 I've been involved with Get Your Guts In Gear (also known as GYGIG). The Ride is a 3 day, 210 mile event that seeks to raise awareness of IBD and to empower patients and their families.

what are my hobbies and interests? way too many but... my wife, my friends, my golden retrievers, my bike (lance was wrong sometimes it is about the bike), watching football (in particular navy and the seattle seahawks), movies, the theater, eating good food, making good food, the list goes on and on...
